Westport Auction has emerged as a staple in Fairfield County as a premiere Auction Gallery holding 5-10 monthly auctions featuring fine art, antiques, and decorative accessories.  with a strong focus on Mid Century design. With specialists knowledgeable in a wide berth of fields that span centuries, styles, and continents, we welcome consignments from any field with the confidence and expertise to connect the market to our consignors.

Who We Are

Westport Auction is owned and operated by Travis and Kate Worrell. They ran their first live auction March 17, 2007, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Fairfield CT. In 2013 the couple moved the auction house to an old post office by the train station in Westport, CT and remained there until 2019. The Auction House grew exponentially and is now located in a prime location at 250 Westport Ave in Norwalk, CT, complemented by two additional warehouse facilities in Bridgeport. This strategic move has facilitated an expansion of our showroom, enhancing the accessibility for preview and in-person consignment evaluations. We are delighted to inform our esteemed clientele that we now offer up to 10 auctions each month, featuring an impressive array of approximately of 1000s of unique items. At Westport Auction, we pride ourselves on our collaborative approach, spearheaded by the dynamic duo of Travis and Kate, alongside our dedicated team of 16 professionals. From the meticulous intake of consignments to the adept execution of photography, cataloging, invoicing, and shipping, each member of our team is committed to delivering excellence, with customer satisfaction as our foremost priority

By emailing the lot number and auction date, if it is within the pick up window we will follow up with an after auction price that is a fair market price for both the consignor and buyer.

Bidders register on our website via the current auctions tab, once a request is received to bid and credentials are checked out, the bidder is approved for bidding in that auction.

After bidders have been approved to bid at an individual auction, they may place bids prior to the sale. Then once the auction starts live, they can make bids based on the auctioneer’s direction by simply clicking the ‘Bid’ button.

Online bidders will be able to view all onsite and online bids in real time on the bidder dashboard.
