In-House Shipping & Delivery

Westport Auction offers in-house packing and shipping for eligible items, plus local and regional delivery for furniture and oversized purchases. Pickup in person is also available

In-House Shipping

Our shipping department packs and ships fine art, antiques, decorative objects, sculpture, collectibles, and other one-of-a-kind items.

Eligible items ship within the continental United States via UPS or USPS. Service includes professional packing, new packing materials, full insurance, and door-to-door tracking.

Size limits (final packed carton, not the unwrapped item):

Most decorative and three-dimensional items: about 24″ × 24″ × 24″
Artwork: art box generally no wider than 44″

Items over these limits may require Westport Auction delivery or a third-party carrier.

Please allow at least 10 business days after payment for packing and processing.

Local & Regional Delivery

We deliver furniture, artwork, oversized pieces, multiple purchases, and other items that are not a good fit for parcel shipping.

Nearby New York communities

Other destinations may be available depending on route, item size, and vehicle availability. That can include Long Island, New Jersey, and areas near the Massachusetts and Rhode Island borders. Contact us for availability and pricing.

Delivery price depends on location, size and quantity, handling, building access, and routing.

Furniture, oversized items, international shipments, and destinations outside our delivery routes usually require a third-party shipper. See the recommended shippers listed below. Payment to that company is separate and is between you and the shipper.

Pickup in Person

Regular pickup hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Please bring your own packing materials. We cannot guarantee help moving large items. Items must be picked up at their designated location; we cannot move lots between sites for pickup.

Pickup location and the designated window for each sale are listed in the auction description, lot notes, and on your invoice. Storage fees apply to items left after that window.

Connecticut sales tax of 6.35% is added when you pick up in person, unless you have a valid resale number on file or a hired shipper is collecting the items.

How to Request A Quote

Email info@westportauction.com with:

Invoice or lot numbers
Confirmed delivery address
Access details (stairs, elevator, loading dock, building rules)

After you approve the quote, the charge is added to your invoice.

Private Carriers & International Shipping

If you use your own UPS, FedEx, or USPS account, we can provide a pack-only quote. Email the prepaid label to info@westportauction.com.
